Edward Diego's Homepage
In May of 2001, Dad, Mom, Andrew and I spent 5 days in Thailand after our time in the Philippines.
We stayed mostly in Bangkok where we saw many temples and were taken around by two of Dad's friends.
We took a canal tour and stayed in a really nice hotel. I missed the cool folk dancing because I
drank a little too much crazy yellow drink in Chinatown.
Some of the pics came out a little dark. Sorry.

| Standing on a ferry/taxi pier next to our hotel. The ferry's take you across the Chao Phraya River.
| Andrew and I in our hotel room on the 14th floor. The picture is very dark, but I still scanned it so
you could see our view.
| Dad and Mom in the lobby of our hotel, the Royal Orchid Sheraton.
| Royal Grand Palace - Standing next to one of the many temples, big scary guys, and two random Thai locals. Just kidding. Those are
dad's friends who did a wonderful job showing us around.
| Do not pet the elephants. They don't like tourists much.
| This pic scanned dark, but trust me, it was a nice view of a temple from the steps of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
| One of many cool statues strewn about the place. They're pretty large and all different.
| Andrew hanging out with some flying monkeys from the "Wizard of Oz".
| Standing out front of the Chakri Group building, drinking some mango juice. No, it wasn't raining. It was just really hot.
| Two Tuk Tuk's outside the palace gates. They're like taxis and aren't too expensive. They're called Tuk Tuk's because that's kind of
the sound their engine makes.
